Last Updated June 30, 2013
New information for the 2013-2014 Calendar below.

For those who may be interested, we received information about a Call for Artists from someone at the American Cancer Society of Clinical Oncology. Also, there is no fee to submit artwork!

I work at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), a non-profit organization representing physicians who care for people with cancer. I would like to inform you that ASCO is currently seeking artwork submissions for our annual Expressions of Hope wall calendar. Cancer has a profound effect on all the lives it touches, and we invite anyone who has been affected by cancer – patients, friends, families, caregivers – to share their emotions through art and inspire hope in others.

More information can be found below or by clicking here. To complete your official entry, you must also submit the artwork submission form (PDF).

Penn Towers (Philidelphia PA.) has a cutting edge art therapy program that works with cancer patients and their families to use art as a pallitive care function for enriching both the client and their families at the teminal stage. This is highly recomended and may be of value to your endevour.

    This is so awesome!
I’m a Psychology and also a School Counseling student and very much interested in Art Therapy. I have always used creativity/art to express and heal myself and I would -love- to help others through the use of Art Therapy.
My dad passed away from cancer last year and I would like to submit an artwork but it’s not clear to me if you have to be a U.S. citizen to be able to participate. I’m from Aruba and currently living/studying in the Netherlands. I would like to know if it’s possible for me and my sister to participate. Thanks in advance for the info 🙂

How many pieces are allowed to be submitted? Also, is there an ideal dimension for canvas size? Thanks!
