How You Can Help Promote Art Therapy

  1. If this website was helpful or interesting to you in any way, you can help to promote it by linking to this site like so: Art Therapy. Here’s the html code if you just want to copy and paste from here: <a href=http://www.arttherapyblog.com>Art Therapy</a>
  2. Share your experience with our readers! See below for more information…

The Art Therapy blog wants to hear from you! We want to help spread the word about art therapy and we’d like to share your experiences with our readers.

If you would like to submit words, stories, and/or images of your original art therapy artwork  for sharing at this site, please e-mail arttherapyblog[at]gmail[dot]com with what you would like published. Examples of things you can submit include: an experience you had with art therapy, images of artwork you’ve created through art therapy (this can be any number of things), a story or poem about art therapy. Feel free to be creative, and if you think of anything else you’d like to submit, don’t hesitate!

**This is not about what looks good or what is good art…this is more about promoting art therapy, sharing your experience and how creativity has helped you. All tpes of artists from any skill level are welcome. It could be a stick-figure drawing, but if you got something out of it, that’s amazing and is worthy of submission!

By submitting anything you are declaring that you are the creator and that any copyrights belong to you. OR, you should provide appropriate credit and ideally a way to contact the original artist to attain permission to use their work on this site.

I have never been in any actual art therapy classes can’t seem to find anything close to me. But I paint frequently and find just the actual physical process of creating therapeutic. I have always been affiliated with art but it wasn’t until 6 yrs ago that I found my voice through my creating, alot of people have suggested to quite that voice but I say no way. I want other people with mental illness to feel like they are just as much a part of this World as anyone else.
