Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge, visited Northolt High School in north-west London on Valentine’s Day. Kate is a royal patron of the Art Room which is the charity that created the art therapy room, and 5 others throughout Oxfod and London. The Art Room offers art as therapy to help boost children’s independence, confidence and overall self-esteem. The Duchess made a special visit to the 9 children in attendance on Valentine’s Day. There is no doubt, especially in the United Kingdom, that having such a high profile individual like The Duchess is sure to bring welcome publicity and notoriety to charities and programs that involve the arts.
