I am interested in becoming an Art Therapist. I have recenlty moved to Washington to acquire my BA in Art. I am trying to decide what career path to follow with my passion for drawing and painting. I was hoping you could let me know of any schools in Washington at the Undergraduate level for Art Therapy. Thank you, Kimberly Williams

I’m a MA Art Therapy graduate from Northern California, Sonoma State University. I’m looking for work and I see that a counseling license is required to get a job at most of these non-profit counseling organizations. Where does an Art Therapist without a counseling degree find work in Washington?

My name is Rachel I was hoping to get some help and/or information. I am currently in community college but hope someday to complete my dream to become an Art Therapist. I was hoping to get some help as to what Antioch University looks for when accepting applicants to their school, if they had housing, and if there are online classes or if it is all on campus. I am also interested in knowing what prerequisites are required.
    Any help is appreciated.

My name is Mike and I am currently enrolled at Peninsula College. In my English class this quarter, I have been assigned to write a profile essay that requires me to conduct an interview about something that I find interesting. I’ve chosen to learn more about my future career field—Art Therapy!

After completing my AAS in Addiction Studdies, my plan is to pursue my Master in art and psychology. Could you recommend a person that would be appropriate for me to interview or contact?
I appreciate your help with this!

I am interested in exploring Art Therapy as a career. I live in Spokane, Wa. and according to this website there is only an accredited course in Seattle. Do you have any other suggestions?

I received my undergrad in Art Therapy. I am looking for work. I am not a certified Art Therapist, but I want to get involved in a social service setting. I need assistance in finding companies to get involved with.
