i would say you have to contact the school about online courses. yu could try a couple of online courses at a community college. they are ussually more flexible and allow you to work at your own pace

Converse College does offer some on-line coursework, but at this time there are no art therapy classes on-line. As a human services profession, it is important to learn about art therapy within the context of human behaviors and interaction.
You can check out our website, and also the website for the American Art Therapy Association for further information.

    Hello,
I’ve been interested in becoming an art therapist for a while now.
What are the requirements for your art therapy program?
I already have one associate degree in occupational therapy and a
masters degree in acupuncture. I kinda jumped right over a bachelors degree!
Any guidance or info will be very welcome.
    Thank you
    Gina

I have a Masters degree in Teaching and an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice/Social Work. I have used art extensively in my classroom to help facilitate community and especially with children who experienced trauma. I have also hosted small groups for women and children to help with emotional expression. Being that I have a Masters in Education what additional requirements are necessary to become a licensed Art Therapist?
