Many graduates of the Art Therapy Preparation Program are registered art therapists practicing throughout the country.

    Hello,

what is the difference between a Graduate program and an Undergraduate ?
Would the undergraduate allow you to be a certified art therapist according to the requirements of the association.

ALSO: I would like to hear students from the Undergraduate program at Cedar Crest’s College – Allentown and Marywood University in Scranton.

    Thank you,

I would like to become a clinical psychologist and also be able to do art therapy. Am I able to get a masters in only psychology and still be able to obtain a career in both? Or will I have to receive a masters in clinical psychology and then go back for a masters in art therapy?

I have been taking classes at Hacc in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. My main focus has been on art, photography, sociology and psychology. I have been working in the field dealing with adults with special needs for 15 years promoting habilitation training. As I have always desired to be an art therapist this is the time to seek. . Because Hacc is only a two year college I must attend school for one year at an accredited college to receive my degree. I am looking primarily for online classes as I am not able to travel any distance at this time. My goal is to teach art therapy working with adults with special needs and individuals with Mental health issues and memory issues.
