Art Therapist Salary Survey

**Did you have a job as an art therapist in 2011? Or were you working in a related art therapy job field in 2011? Please take a minute to fill out a quick and anonymous survey (also found below) and we will share the aggregated results for you and others to view. We currently have about 100+ responses, and have updated the art therapist salary data and chart.

According to our survey so far, the average art therapy salary in 2010 was approximately $42,000 per year in the United States, with most salaries falling between the $30k and $70k range. Keep in mind there are a lot of variables that can affect these numbers. We have much more data about art therapist salaries here. There appears to have been a significant drop in the average art therapist job’s salary from 2009 to 2010 (likely due to macro-economic factors).

Art Therapist Salary Survey

Please take a minute and participate in our Art Therapist Salary Survey for 2010 (the 2011 survey will be coming soon) and help make the data better for others. It’s quick, anonymous, and we’ll update the results throughout the year, as we’ve begun to do here. We really encourage everyone to participate in the survey if you want to make the data better for all. As we’ve mentioned, the data that is available online is not the best and not always accurate, which is why we created this survey.
